Is 11.6 inches big enough (for an Acer netbook)?

Acer has unveiled the latest addition to their popular line of netbooks – the 11.6″ Acer Aspire One.

As far as features go, this model is incredible similar to the Aspire One’s of Christmas past.  The chip behind the scenes is the Intel Atom, which is good enough for basic word processing and web browsing but not so good for more processor-intensive applications.  The screen resolution sits at 1366×768, which seems more practical for users who want the netbook to be their primary device.  The new Aspire One is also bit thinner than its predecessors – Acer took the liberty to move a few components around to make it happen.

It looks like you can expect this sucker to drop at some point in June.  As for the price, we aren’t privy to that information at the moment, but we suspect it will ring in somewhere around $450.  Our friends at CrunchGear believe the cost will be under $500 – we don’t disagree.
