Thinking about buying a new Apple computer or laptop? Wait it out a bit longer and you might save some money.
Rumors are flying around that Apple is considering price drops for its iMac line of desktops and its MacBook line of notebooks. The sources speculating on the drops (“people who’ve proven extremely reliable in predicting Apple’s future business directions”) believe that Apple is currently making changes to these product lines in an effort to bring down costs. Selling cheaper iMacs and MacBooks could help Apple’s sales during this tough economic period.
There’s no word yet on when a potential price drop could be expected, or how much the products will cost. In the meantime, hey Apple – how about dropping the price on that new, top-secret iPhone you’re going to release?
