TG Daily is reporting that both 2K Games and Digital Extremes have confirmed what many BioShock fans have wanted for a long time – multiplayer. 2K Games president Christoph Hartmann had this to say:
“The fans asked for a multiplayer experience and we answered. With Digital Extremes delivering a multiplayer experience for BioShock 2 that features all of the things that make BioShock unique, we’re holding ourselves to a high standard so that we can deliver the depth and variety that fans of the BioShock universe demand.”
BioShock 2 is set to appear on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, as well as on Windows-powered PC’s, later this fall.
