Apple starts selling iPhone 3Gs on their web site: Clearing inventory for new iPhone?

By Shawn Farner | Thursday, May 14, 2009

Apple iPhoneWell, it looks like there’s even more evidence suggesting that Apple will soon debut a new iPhone.  The company has started selling the iPhone 3G themselves on their web site in what appears to be an attempt to clear out the 3G’s inventory.  Don’t believe me?  See for yourself.

It’s still not clear where the new iPhone will be introduced.  Usually, WWDC would be a safe bet, but the conference will be without Steve Jobs and there has been no mention, not even a whisper, of a possible iPhone presentation taking place.  I guess we’ll all just have to sit tight and let things fall into place.
