The Gadget world is never tired of integration! How about a netbook than can navigate for you? This is exactly what Dell plans to do.

With this integration, Dell Netbooks Owners will be able to navigate directions, geo-tag photos on Flickr or et weather information based on their current location.

This added function will come as a optional item where consumers will have to pay $69 for the card called the Wireless 700 when ordering their Dell Mini 10 netbooks.

As for the software, it will be pretty much the same as any regular GPS with 2D/3D maps, route optimization…etc. But do take note that though the software comes free when the card and the netbooks are purchased, consumers still need to pay for annual map updates. Other accessories such as car charger and a dock for the netbooks will also be offered.

But why would anyone used a Netbooks to navigate when most smart phones now offer the same? According to Alan Sicher, senior wireless product manager at Dell, the netbooks GPS will be a cheaper alternative to international travelers where roaming cost of a regular cell phone could be very costly.

The Dell GPS cards will be available on 7th July.
