While most buyer feel that this year Computex Show 2009 in Taipei is flooded with “look alike” product ideas. We do found one product that stand up from the rest.

Not much of a creative but nevertheless Innovative with some simple tweak on stuff we already knew. We are talking EeeKeyboard PC, the new member of the Eee Family of Asus here!

The EeeKeyboard PC had definitely caught much attention at the COMPUTEX’s showground. At the first look at it, one will thought it is a stylish looking keyboard with user friendly 5 inch touch panel to replace the number pad of a typical PC keyboard.

Yet is NOT a keyboard!

Instead, it is a Full Featured Personal Computer all wrap up in a  a general keyboard size and weights less than I kg. Do not be mislead by it’s mere “compact size”,  the EeeKeyboard PC is also equipped with wireless HDMI and WiFi network, which will turns your LCD monitor, LCD TV into a digital multimedia audio/video center without any interruptive cable connections.

It is said that there will be 2 version for the KeyBoard PC–a wired and a wireless. The wired version will price about $400 while the wireless around  $600.

Breaking News! Intel Atom Found in Ming Dynasty Vase! Huh!?

computex09-intel-vaseYet another attempt to “Chinalized” technology. A Taiwan Computer maker came out with the idea to replace the regular housing of a home media computer in a Ming Dynasty vase during Computex Show 2009 in Taipei.

The “Vase” comes with a  Blu-ray Disc player that offers a 1080p high-definition video quality, it used an Intel Atom N230 microprocessor to keep it compact within and also Nvidia Ion graphics chips and a 2.5-inch hard disc drive. All plugs for HDMI cable,  Ethernet cable and USB ports are located at the bottom of the vase. Seems Cool, but will you really buy one? Share your comment with me on this, I am really curious to find out.

P/S: The Ming Dynasty was dated between the 1300s to the 1600s. Is an era of China where the art of porcelain production flourished,thus the use of the term “China” in the West as a reference to fine porcelain. Blue and white vases in the Ming Dynasty are one of the most popular art objects of all.
