BlackBerry Curve jumps in front of the iPhone as best-selling smartphone 1
Research In Motion spent a lot of time and money building the BlackBerry Storm, a smartphone they believed could earn the coveted “iPhone Killer” title. The BlackBerry Storm was a disappointment, but RIM can’t be too disappointed anymore. As it turns out, they already have an iPhone killer in the lineup.
It’s called the BlackBerry Curve.

Prior to this past January, I’d been a (relatively) happy Verizon Wireless customer. Most of my family and friends were on Verizon, which made calling them free. I had free nights and weekends. I also had a pretty decent messaging plan that allowed me to send texts, picture messages and video messages to my fellow Verizoners as much as I wanted.
