T-Mobile’s Android-powered G1 sells a million 1
According to Deutche Telekom, its U.S.-based wireless company, T-Mobile, has now sold one million G1 smartphones. The G1 (also known as the HTC Dream) is powered by Google’s mobile operating system, Android, and debuted on the T-Mobile service six months ago.
While a million sales in six months is certainly impressive, it doesn’t quite match up to Apple’s sales – the iPhone is believed to have hit over half a million sales in its first week.
