Great-Museums-Itune

Consumer Electronics Daily News (CEDN) reported today that Great Museums, the popular TV series that feature Great Museums across America is now “ITuned”

Created by Echo Pictures, Inc., the independent production company , “Great Museums” is created with one vision in mind… “to knock people out with a half-hour of T.V. that sends them to the Web or their local museum, library, historical society, or school…” according to an interview of Chesney B. Doyle, the brain child behind the beloved TV series.

According to CEDN, Great Museums, the beloved independent series is now a click away—available on your vacation or as you plan one on your Apple Ipod, Iphones or other Apple’s Gadget. And right now, the newest episode on New Orleans, ‘A Living Museum of Music,’ is available as a free download at iTunes.

The New Gizhq and myself support any effort to add more arts and culture element to Technology, and will certainly support such meaningful Tech event.

Here’s a few treasures we can find in the newly “ITuned” series,

  • The National Zoo,
  • The Metropolitan Museum of Art,
  • The National Baseball Hall of Fame,
  • The museums of Havana, Cuba, and
  • New Orleans’ “Living Museum of Music” …etc

Just to name a few of the Great Museums available on the iTunes store.

Other MUST-SEE stars in the series includes Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Irvin Mayfield, Michael Spock, The Last “Out Ball” from the First World Series, Seabiscuit’s trophies—and the list goes on.

With more than three dozen of excellence awards, The Great Museums Series is the collective mind share of curators, scientists, historians and art scholars from diverse backgrounds.

Like what CEDN wrote :

” The thrill of Great Museums is not the fleeting buzz of a roller coaster ride, but the lasting, life-changing thrill of seeing and knowing. “

And by the way, Great Museums is shot in HD. How cool is that?

‘Great Museums’ is available for download at www.iTunes.com/TV/GreatMuseums
